Trainee / Health & Safety Advisor\nFleet, Hampshire | UK & Europe travel | Hybrid | £35-40k | 11692\n\nWe’re working with a fast-growing business in the data centre & infrastructure space who are looking for an ambitious Trainee / Health & Safety Advisor to join their expanding HSEQ team.\nThis is a brilliant opportunity for someone early in their H&S career who wants real development, proper exposure, and a clear path into progression and management — not just a tick-box role.\nIf you’re keen to learn, open to travel, and want to build a long-term career in Health & Safety, this could be a great fit.\n\nThe Opportunity\n\nYou’ll be joining a business that is:\n• Rapidly growing (and genuinely scaling — £60m+ turnover and pushing hard towards £100m+)\n• Working with major global clients in the tech & infrastructure space\n• Delivering projects across the UK, Europe and beyond\n• Backed by a major international group\n• Investing heavily in developing their HSEQ team\n\nYou’ll get exposure to:\n• Live operational environments (including high-tech facilities)\n• Construction, fit-out and infrastructure projects\n• UK sites + regular European travel\n• Real responsibility early on (not just shadowing)\n\nWhat you’ll be doing\n• Supporting health & safety across live sites and projects\n• Site inspections, audits and reporting\n• Supporting RAMS and risk assessments\n• Working closely with contractors, clients and site teams\n• Getting involved in CDM and infrastructure works\n• Helping improve HSEQ standards as the business grows\n\nWhat they’re looking for\n\nThis is ideal if you’re early in your career and want to build something long-term:\n\n• NEBOSH General Certificate (or working towards / recently qualified)\n• Some H&S exposure (trainee, assistant, junior level etc.)\n• Genuinely interested in construction / infrastructure / technical environments\n• Comfortable being out on site and liaising at all levels\n• Happy with UK & European travel (this is a big part of the role – 2–3 days every other week)\n• Able to commute to Fleet and work hybrid\n\nMost importantly:\n- You’re motivated, willing to learn, and serious about building a career in H&S\n________________________________________\nWhat’s on offer\n• Up to £40,000 salary\n• Company car, fuel card & credit card\n• £daily subsistence when travelling\n• Bonus scheme (plus Christmas bonus)\n• Private medical cover\n• Laptop & iPad\n• Training budget + structured development pathway\n• Hybrid working\n• Clear progression into Advisor → Senior → Management roles\n________________________________________\n\nWhy this role stands out\n\nThis isn’t a “stay still and do audits forever” kind of job.
