Quality Electrical Systems (QES) is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Transformer Technician to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will assemble, test, troubleshoot, and repair electrical transformers and related components while ensuring all products meet quality and safety standards.

Responsibilities:

• Assemble transformer components and enclosures using technical drawings and wiring diagrams
• Perform electrical wiring, soldering, and electrical connections
• Conduct electrical and mechanical testing to ensure proper performance
• Troubleshoot and repair transformer components during production or testing
• Use electrical testing equipment such as multimeters and meggers
• Inspect materials and finished products for quality compliance
• Document test results and production information
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
• Collaborate with engineers, supervisors, and production team members to meet manufacturing goals

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED required
• Technical certification or associate degree in electrical or mechanical field
• 2+ years of experience in transformer manufacturing, electrical assembly, or a related field
• Ability to read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and wiring diagrams
• Knowledge of transformer operation, electrical systems, and troubleshooting methods
• Experience using electrical testing tools (multimeters, insulation testers, etc.)

Work Environment

Manufacturing facility environment with exposure to machinery, electrical components, and noise. Position may require standing for extended periods and lifting components. Overtime may be required based on production needs.
