A seasoned Transition Manager with extensive experience leading DoD IT programs. You bring strong leadership, contract oversight, and communication skills, and you understand the mission-critical nature of supporting Enterprise Technology Integration, Governance, Engineering and Requirements systems. 

How You Will Make an ImpactThe Transition Manager will provide oversight transitioning from the incumbent contract to this contract. This position shall be located in the Fort Knox, KY location. 

Responsibilities

  • Create detailed plans and checklists outlining all transition activities, timelines, and requirements. 
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate risks throughout the transition, developing contingency plans for issues like data loss or security clearance delays. 
  • Act as the primary point of contact, coordinating with government contracting officers, functional managers, incumbent teams, and the new contractor to ensure alignment and cooperation. 
  • Direct initiatives to transfer critical project management processes, technical documentation, and operational knowledge from the incumbent to the new team.
  • Manage the transfer and integration of personnel, ensuring staff are on-boarded, facilities are ready, and systems access is granted. 
  • Work to maintain mission-critical services, goods, and deliverables without interruption during the transition period. 
  • Facilitate the transfer and access to all necessary information, records, and asset registers. 
  • Provide regular status updates, reports, and briefings to government stakeholders and other relevant parties to keep everyone informed and engaged.

Here's What You Need

  • 10+ years of experience in program management within DoD roles.
  • Experience transitioning IT support services from one contract to another. 
  • Experience successfully transitioning systems similar, in size and complexity, to HRC systems. 
  • Demonstrated knowledge, skills and experience with correctly identifying emerging HR IT requirements and associated drivers; commercially successful HR IT products, opportunities and issues associated with HR IT custom developed and implemented solutions; and customization of commercial-off-the-shelf (COTS) HR Products. 
  • Experience with DoD HR Program objectives, mission requirements and associated DoD HR standard architectures.
  • Experience with US Army personnel systems and workflow management processes. 
  • You hold a Secret DoD Security Clearance.

  • Ability to report onsite as needed in Fort Knox, KY
