Site Safety Manager – Virginia (Day and Night Shifts Available)

Safe Site Solutions is hiring experienced Site Safety Managers to lead field safety on large-scale data center construction projects across Virginia. This is a high-visibility, safety-critical role on fast-moving sites. We're looking for sharp, dependable safety professionals who take ownership of keeping crews safe and projects compliant.

Pay and Details

  • $50.00 per hour
  • Overtime at $75.00 per hour for hours over 40 in a workweek
  • $100.00 per diem for each day worked
  • Day and night shifts available
  • Travel within the Virginia area required
  • 1099 contract, project based
  • Start date: mid-October 2026

What You'll Do

  • Lead daily site safety walks and correct hazards and unsafe behaviors
  • Review and support permits, including hot work, confined space, energized work, and elevated work
  • Guide crews on pre-task plans, job hazard analyses, and safe work plans
  • Conduct site-specific safety orientations for new workers
  • Enforce OSHA regulations, PPE requirements, and project safety standards
  • Lead incident investigations and document corrective actions
  • Conduct safety audits and equipment inspections
  • Serve as the main safety contact for project leadership, subcontractors, and the client

What We're Looking For

  • 1 to 3+ years in a formal Safety Manager, Safety Coordinator, or Safety Professional role on construction sites. Security or safety-adjacent roles do not count.
  • OSHA 510 or OSHA 30 required
  • Current First Aid/CPR
  • NFPA 70E
  • Data center construction experience strongly
  • Strong communication and leadership skills
  • Reliable transportation and willingness to travel within Virginia (travel not covered)
