Full-Time Traveling Data Center Low Voltage Network Specialist – Paid Training
Location: Nationwide travel; projects at Meta data centers
Pay: $20/hr + $30/hr overtime
Per Diem: $1,400/month, untaxed
Schedule: 60–72 hours per week

We’re seeking reliable, detail-oriented entry-level technicians who want hands-on exposure to structured cabling, network validation, and the technical work that supports large-scale data center operations.

You’ll work side-by-side with Meta employees and experienced field teams while building practical low-voltage and network infrastructure skills in high-standard, mission-critical environments.

What you’ll do

• Execute network audits and verify that installed network infrastructure matches drawings, labeling, and site requirements.
• Validate structured cabling infrastructure and support provisioning readiness throughout data center spaces.
• Perform basic network and cable testing, document results, and identify issues requiring correction. Proper testing and documentation help confirm cabling performance and make future troubleshooting more efficient.
• Troubleshoot connectivity issues by tracing cable paths, reviewing terminations and labels, and escalating findings to the appropriate lead or network team.
• Pull, route, dress, secure, label, and terminate copper and fiber cabling, including Cat5e, Cat6, Cat6A, and fiber-optic runs.
• Install and maintain cable pathways such as ladder racks, cable trays, J-hooks, and related support systems.
• Assist with patching, rack-and-stack support, equipment-room organization, and cable management in data halls, IDFs, MDFs, and network cabinets.
• Follow detailed procedures, safety requirements, and quality standards in active data center environments.

What we’re looking for

• No previous data center or low-voltage experience required—paid training is provided.
• Strong attention to detail, willingness to learn, and pride in organized, accurate work.
• Comfortable working 60–72 hours per week, including overtime as project needs require.
• Willingness and ability to travel nationwide for project assignments.
• Ability to work on ladders, lift up to 50 lbs, and remain active throughout the shift.
• Reliable transportation, a valid driver’s license, and a professional attitude.
• Interest in building a long-term career in data centers, structured cabling, network infrastructure, or low-voltage installation.

Pay and travel details

• $20/hr regular pay
• $30/hr overtime pay
• $1,400/month untaxed per diem while traveling
