Site Services Installation Technician (Traveling) – East Coast / Ohio Region

Location: East Coast (OH, PA, IN, KY, TN, MS, and surrounding areas)
Travel Required: 4–6 weeks at a time
Pay: $24–$26/hour (based on experience) + daily per diem

 

Overview

We are seeking Traveling Site Services Installation Technicians to join our team at Subzero Engineering, working on active construction sites installing Hot and Cold Aisle Containment systems in mission-critical environments.

This role is ideal for candidates with construction experience, blueprint reading ability, and strong hands-on installation skills who are open to traveling for extended project durations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Install Hot and Cold Aisle Containment systems on active construction sites
  • Travel to assigned job sites for 4–6 week project durations
  • Read and interpret blueprints and installation drawings
  • Perform hands-on work including measuring, drilling, assembly, and installation
  • Operate tools and equipment safely and efficiently
  • Troubleshoot installation issues and collaborate with team leads
  • Maintain professionalism on all customer job sites
  • Follow all safety protocols and OSHA standards
  • Submit expense reports and manage travel requirements

 

Requirements

  • Construction site experience required (installation, framing, mechanical, or similar hands-on work)
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints
  • Experience with power tools and installation work
  • Experience operating forklifts and/or scissor lifts
  • Willingness and ability to travel 4–6 weeks at a time
  • Physically capable: bending, lifting, crawling, kneeling, working in confined spaces
  • Strong work ethic, reliability, and teamwork mindset
  • OSHA 10 or 30 (training can be provided)
  • Valid travel identification required

Compensation & Travel

  • $24–$26/hour (based on experience)
  • Daily per diem provided while traveling
