Overview
Subzero Engineering, a brand under Senneca Holdings, is seeking an experienced Traveling Installer to join our Site Services team. This is a hands-on construction role installing Hot and Cold Aisle Containment systems inside mission-critical data centers and secure facilities.
This is a travel-based position. Candidates must be willing and able to travel for extended periods, typically five to six consecutive weeks depending on project needs.
Installers will work on active construction sites and within secure environments. Construction experience is ; however, strong mechanical, assembly, or installation experience will be considered.
Responsibilities
- Install hot and cold aisle containment systems in data centers and secure facilities
- Work on active construction sites in Texas and nationwide as assigned
- Travel for extended periods (5–6 weeks at a time)
- Perform measuring, drilling, assembling, and installation tasks
- Follow detailed multi-step installation instructions
- Troubleshoot installation issues with the Installation Lead
- Maintain tools and equipment
- Submit expense reports accurately and on time
- Represent the company professionally on job sites
- Follow OSHA and all site-specific safety protocols
- Complete OSHA 10 and 30-hour training (company provided)
- Comply with strict client security and confidentiality requirements
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
Requirements
- Must reside within 30 miles of Fort Worth, Texas
- Valid driver’s license required
- Must be willing and able to travel 5–6 weeks at a time
- Construction experience
- Hands-on mechanical, assembly, or installation experience considered
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and manage time effectively
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in fast-paced construction environments
- Ability to meet physical demands (lifting, bending, kneeling, crawling, reaching, confined spaces)
- High school diploma
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail
- Commitment to safety and client confidentiality
