Position Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Traveling Superintendent specializing in Mission Critical projects. The ideal candidate will oversee the construction of Data Centers from the ground up, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. The role requires significant travel to various project sites and strong leadership in managing construction teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and supervise all on-site construction activities for Mission Critical projects, including Data Centers.
- Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure project milestones are met.
- Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
- Prepare and maintain project schedules, budgets, and reports to track progress and performance.
- Lead and mentor construction teams, including Foremen and subcontractors, to foster a productive working environment.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise on the job site to maintain project momentum.
- Ensure all construction activities align with AWS standards and specifications.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Superintendent in Mission Critical or Data Center construction projects.
- Strong understanding of construction processes, safety regulations, and best practices.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate and guide teams effectively.
- Ability to travel extensively to various project sites as required.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact with diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Experience with AWS standards and protocols is .
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field is a plus.
