Key Responsibilities:

  • Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair UPS (Uninterruptible Power Supply) systems across data centers, industrial, and commercial facilities
  • Perform preventive maintenance and emergency service calls on battery backup systems
  • Diagnose electrical and mechanical issues with UPS equipment from all major manufacturers
  • Conduct battery system testing, monitoring, and replacement services
  • Document all service activities, maintain accurate records, and complete service reports
  • Provide technical support and recommendations to clients regarding system performance and optimization
  • Respond to customer service requests in a timely and professional manner
  • Participate in ongoing training programs to stay current with evolving technologies

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting abilities
  • Experience with or willingness to learn UPS systems and battery backup technology
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and technical diagrams
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Valid driver's license with clean driving record
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various environmental conditions
  • Basic computer skills for documentation and reporting

  • Previous experience with critical power systems, UPS equipment, or battery systems
  • Electrical, HVAC, or related technical certification
  • Experience working in data center or industrial environments
