Key Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair UPS (Uninterruptible Power Supply) systems across data centers, industrial, and commercial facilities
- Perform preventive maintenance and emergency service calls on battery backup systems
- Diagnose electrical and mechanical issues with UPS equipment from all major manufacturers
- Conduct battery system testing, monitoring, and replacement services
- Document all service activities, maintain accurate records, and complete service reports
- Provide technical support and recommendations to clients regarding system performance and optimization
- Respond to customer service requests in a timely and professional manner
- Participate in ongoing training programs to stay current with evolving technologies
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting abilities
- Experience with or willingness to learn UPS systems and battery backup technology
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and technical diagrams
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various environmental conditions
- Basic computer skills for documentation and reporting

- Electrical, HVAC, or related technical certification
- Experience working in data center or industrial environments
