This role is responsible for overseeing all on-site warehouse and laydown yard operations, including receiving, storage, inventory control, tool management, and distribution of materials to work fronts.
This role will initially support a 6-month data center construction project based in Lordstown, with a strong pipeline of follow-on projects nationwide. This is not a short-term assignment — upon successful completion of the first project, you will transition directly to subsequent projects, offering long-term career stability and growth. The successful candidate will be a logistical expert who thrives in a fast-paced construction environment, balancing physical warehouse operations with administrative accuracy to ensure materials flow seamlessly to support project schedules.
2. Duties

- Lead and supervise a team of warehouse workers and material handlers, assigning daily tasks, monitoring performance, and ensuring safe and efficient operations.
- Coordinate closely with Procurement, Site Worker Leads, and subcontractors to ensure just-in-time delivery and distribution of materials, tools, and consumables.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment, ensuring proper segregation of materials, clear access aisles, and secure storage of high-value items.
- Manage tool and equipment checkout/inspection processes, tracking usage, scheduling maintenance, and ensuring all tools are returned in good condition.
- Operate and oversee material handling equipment (forklifts, telehandlers, boom lifts) and enforce strict safety protocols for equipment operation.
- Coordinate incoming and outgoing logistics, including scheduling deliveries, loading/unloading trucks, and managing waste/recycling removal from site.
- Generate daily and weekly inventory and activity reports for project management, highlighting potential shortages, overages, or logistical bottlenecks.
- Enforce strict security measures to prevent theft or loss of materials and equipment.
- Support project close-out activities, including surplus material return, final inventory reconciliation, and warehouse decommissioning.
3. Must-Haves as the Warehouse Manager
- Minimum 4 years of experience in warehouse, logistics, or materials management, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role on construction or industrial projects.
- Proven ability to operate material handling equipment (forklift, telehandler, etc.) and valid operator certification.
- Solid working knowledge of inventory control principles, receiving procedures, storage best practices, and distribution logistics on active construction sites.
- Proficiency using ERP or digital inventory management systems for daily data entry, tracking, and reporting.
- Strong leadership and team management skills – able to direct, motivate, and hold a team of warehouse workers accountable.
- Excellent organizational skills with high attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping.
- Good physical fitness – ability to stand, walk, lift up to 50 lbs, and work outdoors in all weather conditions.
- Fluent English (reading, writing, speaking) required for documentation, ERP use, and team coordination.
- Reliable, punctual, and flexible with working hours – prepared to work overtime, weekends, and shifts as required by project milestones.

5. Benefits
- Competitive salary commensurate with experience.
- Comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance.
- 401(k) retirement plan with company match.
- Paid time off and holiday pay.
- Opportunities for career advancement through a strong pipeline of nationwide projects – this role is a gateway to long-term employment with PSG.
- Per diem or relocation assistance available for qualified candidates (subject to policy).

- Minimum 4 years of total warehouse, logistics, or materials management experience.
- At least 2 years in a supervisory or lead role managing warehouse teams on construction sites.
- Demonstrated experience managing high-volume material flow on medium-to-large projects (50+ workers).
7. License/Certification
