Warehouse Operations Lead

Position Summary 

The Warehouse Lead is responsible for supporting daily warehouse operations, coordinating workflow, and helping ensure orders are received, picked, packed, shipped, and stored accurately and efficiently. This role provides hands-on leadership to warehouse team members, helps maintain a safe and organized work environment, and serves as a point of contact for operational questions on the warehouse floor. 

Key Responsibilities 

• Lead daily warehouse activities, including receiving, stocking, picking, packing, shipping, returns, and inventory movement. 
• Assign tasks and help prioritize workload for warehouse team members. 
• Train new and existing employees on warehouse procedures, safety practices, equipment use, and company standards. 
• Ensure orders are picked, packed, and shipped accurately and on time. 
• Verify incoming and outgoing shipments for accuracy, condition, and proper documentation. 
• Maintain accurate inventory by assisting with cycle counts, inventory audits, stock adjustments, and location management. 
• Monitor warehouse productivity and communicate issues, delays, or staffing needs to management. 
• Enforce safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free warehouse. 
• Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, hand trucks, scanners, and shipping systems as needed. 
• Assist with resolving order discrepancies, damaged products, shortages, and shipping errors. 
• Support continuous improvement efforts to increase efficiency, accuracy, and organization. 
• Ensure company policies and procedures are followed by all warehouse staff. 
• Perform other warehouse and operational duties as assigned. 
• Daily outbound package deliveries for air cargo, FedEx 
• Assist with building closing procedures 

Qualifications 

• High school diploma or GED required. 
• Warehouse, shipping, receiving, or inventory experience . 
• Prior lead, trainer, or supervisory experience . 
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy. 
• Ability to lead by example and work effectively with a team. 
• Good communication, organization, and problem-solving skills. 
• Ability to manage priorities in a fast-paced environment. 

Physical Requirements 

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, push, pull, and lift throughout the shift. 
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. regularly, or more with assistance. 
• Ability to work in a warehouse environment with varying temperatures and noise levels. 
• Ability to safely operate warehouse equipment. 

Work Schedule 

Overtime available. Schedule shift for Holiday weekends for work/life balance 

Base Schedule: 

Tuesday 11:30am to 8pm 

Wednesday: 11:30am to 8pm 

Thursday: 11:30am to 8pm 

Friday: 10:30am to 7pm 

Saturday: 7am to 3:30pm 

Compensation 

Pay is based on experience and qualifications.
