Job Title: Warehouse Technician / Cable Technician (Project-Based)
Excellent Pay: $29.00 per hour
Project Overview:
We are seeking reliable, detail-oriented Warehouse Technicians/Cable Technicians to support a data center decommissioning project. This is a project-based, as-needed engagement and is not a full-time or 40-hour-per-week position.

Position Summary:
Technicians will assist with logistics and warehouse-related activities involving decommissioned equipment that has already been removed from production racks. This role does not involve equipment installation, cabling, rack work, or decommissioning activities. Instead, technicians will focus on preparing equipment for shipment according to established procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collect decommissioned equipment from designated onsite locations
- Inspect equipment for shipment readiness
- Properly pack equipment using the provided packaging materials
- Generate and apply shipping labels using a provided thermal printer
- Organize and palletize packaged equipment
- Prepare pallets for carrier pickup and shipment
- Maintain accurate inventory and shipment records
- Follow all site-specific safety and operational procedures
- Keep work areas organized and clean throughout the project
Required Qualifications:
- Previous warehouse, logistics, inventory, shipping/receiving, or data center technician experience
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and standardized processes
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Comfortable lifting and moving equipment in accordance with safety guidelines
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Reliable transportation and punctual attendance
Experience:
- Data center, IT Asset Disposition (ITAD), hardware logistics, operations, or equipment handling experience is ; however, candidates with a strong work ethic, positive attitude, and willingness to learn are encouraged to apply.
- Experience using shipping software, barcode scanners, or thermal printers
- Familiarity with palletizing and freight shipment preparation
