The opportunity
Singh Capital Partners is building the most sophisticated, technology-enabled wealth function in private markets — combining the comprehensive strategic depth of the world's premier private wealth institutions, the long-term of the great family offices, and the planning rigor that significant wealth demands. Powered by the digital infrastructure the next generation of financial services requires. This is a newly created role for a candidate with deep roots in tax, estate planning, or private wealth management — and the ambition to grow into one of the most consequential wealth seats in Washington DC. We will invest fully in your credentials, your development, and your platform. The goal over time is to bring every function in-house — displacing outside counsel and advisors with institutional-grade expertise built and owned within SCP.
What you'll do
Comprehensive Wealth Strategy
- Design and oversee long-term, integrated wealth strategies spanning investments, tax, estate, insurance, philanthropy, and business interests
- Identify vulnerabilities across the full balance sheet and architect solutions with the thoroughness and foresight that significant wealth demands
- Coordinate across legal, tax, and investment advisors — and over time, build the in-house capability to replace them
Tax Strategy & Reduction
- Develop sophisticated tax reduction and deferral strategies across income, capital gains, estate, and gift tax contexts
- Structure investments, business interests, and transactions for maximum tax efficiency
- Advise on entity structure, asset location, and timing strategies for U.S., non-U.S., and global
Estate, Trust & Asset Protection
- Design multigenerational estate plans — trusts, family limited partnerships, charitable structures, dynasty trusts, and succession strategies
- Architect asset protection frameworks that shield wealth from liability, creditors, and unforeseen events
- Advise on domestic and international trust structures, cross-border planning, and global wealth transfer
Insurance & Risk Architecture
- Evaluate and integrate life, , long-term care, and specialty insurance as deliberate components of the wealth plan — not standalone products
- Identify and mitigate risk across the full balance sheet — business, personal, and investment assets
Technology-Enabled Wealth Operations
- Partner with the firm's AI and automation function to build the most technologically sophisticated wealth infrastructure in private markets — real-time portfolio visibility, automated reporting, AI-assisted planning, and a digital- operating model
- Help design systems that deliver institutional-grade precision without institutional overhead
What you'll bring
- 5–10 years in tax, wealth management, estate planning, or a related discipline at a premier private wealth institution, Big 4 firm, top law firm, or equivalent
- Deep fluency in tax strategy, trust structures, and estate planning — demonstrated through credentials held or a rigorous foundation actively built upon
- Exposure to HNW or UHNW complexity across multiple
- The intellectual range to hold tax, investment, legal, and insurance dynamics simultaneously — and synthesize them into a coherent plan
- Comfort with technology as infrastructure — an understanding that the most sophisticated wealth operations of the next decade will be built on data, automation, and AI
- The ambition to own a function rather than execute someone else's playbook
- A degree from a rigorous academic institution; JD, LLM in Taxation, CPA, or MBA strongly
Credential roadmap
SCP will invest fully in the designations required to build this function at the highest level. Depending on your starting point, the target path includes: CFP (Certified Financial Planner) · CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst) · CPWA (Certified Private Wealth Advisor) · ChFC (Chartered Financial Consultant) · CLU (Chartered Life Underwriter) · AEP (Accredited Estate Planner) · TEP (Trust and Estate Practitioner) · LLM in Taxation for candidates from the legal side.
