Year in Industry – Business Analyst

Following a record-breaking year, we’re expanding our internal Analyst function and are looking for a Year in Industry Business Analyst to join our wider group. Based in the heart of Leeds city centre, you’ll join a fast-growing, multi-functional organisation that prides itself on supporting both its people and its clients.
Working across 10 growing businesses spanning two continents, you’ll play a key role in monitoring, interpreting and transforming data into meaningful insights that support decision-making across the group. If you enjoy working with Excel, building reports, and turning raw data into something impactful, this is a role where you can make a real difference.

Key responsibilities
- Analyse consultant activity across multiple CRM platforms to identify training needs and performance opportunities
- Process, cleanse and validate datasets to ensure accuracy and reliability
- Produce performance reports for senior leadership using Excel and Power BI
- Support research into new systems and tools to improve efficiency across the group
- Build and maintain data models to track business performance
- Analyse trends and present findings to stakeholders
- Conduct market research to support future growth opportunities
What we’re looking for
- Currently studying a Bachelor’s degree and seeking a placement between 2nd and final year (ideally including IT or Mathematics modules)
- Strong Excel skills; Power BI experience is beneficial but not essential
- Excellent communication and stakeholder skills
- Curious mindset with a willingness to learn new tools and technologies
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, collaborative office environment
