Account Manager – Cyber Security & Data Resilience\n\nLondon (Hybrid)\n\n£35,000 - £45,000 Basic Salary + Uncapped Commission\n\nAn established and growing technology business is looking to appoint an ambitious Account Manager to join its commercial team. They specialise in helping mid-market businesses reduce cyber risk, improve resilience and ensure business continuity through industry-leading technologies and consultancy services.\n\nTheir portfolio includes:\n\nCyber Security\nData Resilience & Cyber Recovery\nBackup & Disaster Recovery\nCloud & Data Centre Solutions\nBusiness Continuity\nManaged IT Services\nMicrosoft 365 Backup\nPenetration Testing\nInfrastructure & ConsultancyWorking alongside some of the industry's leading technology vendors, they provide tailored solutions that help businesses safeguard their data and maintain operational continuity in an increasingly complex digital landscape.\n\nThe Role\n\nThis is a consultative sales role focused on developing existing customer relationships while identifying opportunities to grow accounts and win new business.\n\nYou'll engage with IT leaders, business owners and senior decision-makers to understand their challenges around cyber security, data protection and resilience, recommending solutions that deliver measurable business value.\n\nThe role combines account management with business development, making it ideal for someone who enjoys building long-term partnerships while proactively uncovering new opportunities.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\nManage and develop a portfolio of existing customer accounts.\nIdentify opportunities to upsell and cross-sell cyber security, cloud and managed service solutions.\nGenerate new business through outbound activity, referrals, networking and LinkedIn.\nBuild relationships with senior stakeholders and key decision-makers.\nConduct consultative discovery meetings to understand customer requirements.\nPrepare tailored proposals and present appropriate technology solutions.\nManage opportunities through the full sales cycle.\nMaintain accurate CRM records and sales forecasts.\nWork closely with technical consultants and delivery teams to ensure an excellent customer experience.About You\n\nWe're looking for someone who has:\n\nPrevious experience within Account Management, Business Development or B2B Sales.\nExperience selling IT, Managed Services, Cyber Security or Cloud solutions would be highly advantageous.\nStrong relationship-building and communication skills.\nA consultative approach to sales.\nExcellent commercial awareness and negotiation skills.\nSelf-motivation with the ability to work towards targets.\nExperience using CRM systems.\nA genuine interest in technology and cyber security.What's on Offer\n\n£35,000 - £45,000 basic salary\nUncapped commission scheme\nHybrid working\nOngoing technical and sales training\nClear career progression\nSupportive and collaborative culture\nOpportunity to work with market-leading cyber security and data resilience technologiesTo apply send your CV to or call (phone number removed)
