Summary of Position:

This position is responsible for directing and managing the daily operations and projects of the computer operations department and also responsible for leading the IT team, of support personnel, to efficiently and effectively carry out IT projects and support the company’s users with company communication and IT infrastructure and systems.

Corporate:

  • Adheres to the Georgia Seating system policies and procedures and leads others in same
  • Complies with all HTGSS Certification standards; Management System (TS16949), Environmental ISO 14001-2015 and Health and Safety ISO 45001-2018 policies and procedures
  • Treats all HTGSS team members with respect and professional courtesy
  • Always maintain pro-team member environment.
  • Manages the department budget efficiently as per approved annual budget
  • Performs special assignments as required by management.

Technical:

  • Create/modify, test, and deploy C# & ASP.NET applications for primary & secondary systems
  • Create/modify SQL statements, stored procedures, and other database objects
  • Configure, test, and maintain servers, workstations, scanners, printers, mobile devices, PLC interfaces, backups, RFID and other specialty software
  • Utilize Radmin,VNC and other tools to monitor the system
  • Document system architecture for cross-training and troubleshooting purposes
  • Function as the subject matter expert in assigned MES Sub Systems and function as an escalation point for MES Technicians
  • Debug source code and check system logs to determine the root cause for system issues
  • Create System Incident Reports when system outages impact production
  • Create approval documents for system changes and purchase decisions
  • Conduct feasibility studies and proof of concepts for new technology and systems
  • Thoroughly test all system changes and function as a peer reviewer for other Systems Analysts
  • Install hardware and software on the production floor and Data Center
  • Participate in production meetings, project meetings, and other important team meetings
  • Provide frequent reports on development projects and escalate as needed
  • Generate ideas to improve the stability, functionality, and management of the MES System
  • Collaborate with Network, Security, Storage, Database, and SAP/ERP Administrators, Production Engineers, PLC & Robot Engineers, and HQ Representatives to provide production support
  • Check the production system every cycle(PPC,Zabra Print,PDA,RFID)
  • When there is a technical meeting about another branch, you should participate. And you may need a business trip.
  • If you have IT work, you should be able to work on weekends or at night.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, or a related field

Software Skills Required

  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Office applications
  • Windows/Linux server and domain services (including backup/duplication/AD)
  • Cisco networking systems and services
  • Technical Security (Firewall/EDR/SASE/DLP/SAC/DAC/NAC/Production security/MFA etc)
  • Strong proficiency with ERP(SAP)/MES
  • Strong proficiency with LAN, WAN, VPN, IPSEC Networking skills
