We’re looking for a Principal/Associate Electrical Engineer to join our growing MEP team and lead the design and delivery of high-performance electrical systems for hyperscale and colocation data centres across Europe. This senior role blends technical leadership, client engagement, and strategic thinking, offering the opportunity to shape the digital backbone of modern society.
You’ll be responsible for managing complex electrical design projects from concept through to completion, ensuring resilience, efficiency, and compliance with international standards. As part of a multidisciplinary team, you’ll collaborate closely with clients, architects, and engineering partners to deliver integrated solutions that meet demanding performance, reliability, and sustainability requirements.
We’re looking for someone with a strong foundation in electrical building services engineering, ideally with experience in mission-critical sectors such as data centres, healthcare, or advanced manufacturing.
You’ll have deep expertise in LV/HV distribution, UPS systems, standby , earthing and bonding, lighting design, and fire alarm systems, with strong familiarity across associated electrical infrastructure. You should be confident using tools such as AutoCAD, Revit, Amtech, ETAP, and Dialux. Experience preparing technical specifications, contract documents, managing budgets, and ensuring timely, in-scope project delivery is essential.
As a natural communicator and team leader, you’ll mentor junior engineers, support resource planning, and represent the electrical discipline in client meetings and industry forums. You’ll stay informed on emerging technologies, industry standards, and regulatory changes, and contribute to the wider business by identifying new opportunities and strengthening client relationships.
