Job Title: Site Safety Manager
Location: Temple, TX
Start Date: ASAP
Duration: 6 Months
Type: 1099 Contractor
Compensation:

Schedule:

Project Scope:
This position supports a data center build in Temple, TX, with a primary focus on electrical installation and commissioning activities. The Site Safety Manager will oversee daily site safety operations, ensure compliance with OSHA and NFPA standards, and lead proactive engagement with subcontractors to promote a zero-incident culture.
Key areas include:

Providing on-site safety oversight during data center electrical installations

Conducting daily field audits and hazard assessments
-
Leading toolbox talks and pre-task planning meetings
-
Enforcing Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) and electrical safety standards
-
Collaborating with site leadership to drive accountability and continuous improvement
Qualifications:
✅ Bilingual (English/Spanish)
✅ Degree in Health & Safety with a minimum of 3 years of data/electrical experience or
✅ CHST certification with a minimum of 3 years of data/electrical experience or
✅ Strong understanding of electrical safety, NFPA 70E, and OSHA compliance
✅ Excellent communication and documentation skills
Key Responsibilities:

Perform daily site safety audits and inspections

Lead and document weekly safety meetings

Identify and correct unsafe conditions through collaboration with field teams

Review and update Pre-Task Plans (PTPs) and Job Hazard Analyses (JHAs)

Support root-cause investigations and implement corrective actions

Maintain accurate safety logs, permits, and training records
Skills:

Advanced knowledge of OSHA, NFPA 70E, and EM 385-1-1 compliance

Strong leadership and interpersonal communication with trade partners

Ability to recognize hazards and implement preventive measures

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and safety management systems
Knowledge Base:
Comprehensive understanding of construction safety, electrical installation, and data center operations. Prior experience supporting data center or large-scale electrical projects is highly .
