Position: BIM Lead (Revit)\nLocation: Remote (Candidates must be UK or Ireland based)\nCompany: Security Systems Specialist\nEmployment Type: Permanent\nSectors: Data Centre Security: CCTV, Access Control Panels etc.\nWe’re supporting a successful and long-established security systems specialist in their search for a BIM Lead.\n * They focus on enterprise-level security systems and mission-critical infrastructure design solutions for blue-chip clients.\n * A reputable and expanding company operating in the growing data centre industry.\n * They genuinely value their staff, offering flexible hours, a supportive culture, and future progression opportunity.\nResponsibilities:\n * Create detailed electronic security system models using Revit.\n * Develop and maintain drawings and models throughout the tender, construction, and installation stages of the project lifecycle.\n * Analyse mark-ups and design alterations in Bluebeam.\n * Convert sketches and engineering principles into high-quality technical drawings.\n * Ensure adherence to QA/QC standards, BIM execution plans, and documentation protocols.\n * Collaborate and work closely with diverse teams, including architects, engineers, project managers and sales to ensure accurate design implementation.\n * Provide technical support to other team members.\n * Take charge of specific project design elements, guaranteeing timely progress toward project milestones.\n * Verify that all deliverables comply with both internal and client design requirements.\nCandidate Requirements:\n * Minimum 2-3 years’ experience working in a similar role within the Security industry.\n * Working knowledge of Revit, Navisworks, BIM 360, DiRoots and Excel.\n * Strong understanding of relevant codes, standards, and best practices in BIM.\n * Excellent problem-solving abilities and analytical skills.\n * Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with various teams.\n * Experience in developing and implementing BIM workflows and strategies.\n * A degree in architecture, engineering, or a related field is essential.\nSalary & Package:\n * Competitive salary depending on experience (they’re open to a range of experience)\n * Annual bonus\n * Private healthcare\n * Life insurance\n * Pension contribution\n * 25 days holiday + bank holidays\n * Full time remote with occasional site visits\n * Flexible hours\n * Clear career progression and professional development support\nPlease note: Only candidates residing in the UK or Ireland are eligible for this position.\nThis role may be suitable for candidates currently working as:\nBIM Manager\nBIM Lead
