Salary: £70k – 80K dependant on experience.

Our client who are a well-established and very successful M&E Design Consultancy based in London that specialise in mission critical projects are looking for an experienced and client facing BIM Manager to join and lead their BIM team on a permanent basis.

THE COMPANY

• International Building Services Design Consultancy based in Central London who have well over a decade’s experience of delivering MEP designs on mission critical data centre projects working with some of the leading names in the industry.
• Diverse project experience but they are specialists within the mission critical sector and are enjoying huge success in this area.
• Major projects in the UK and overseas.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Take the lead role in the BIM Team, managing the existing BIM staff across international offices and allocating resource in major projects.
• The BIM Manager will take the lead on projects from a BIM perspective, attending design meeting and dealing with the clients on major international data centre projects.
• The BIM Manager will be responsible for coordinating with other engineering disciplines on the project (architectural/ structural) from a BIM perspective.
• The BIM Manager will have involvement in hands on coordination of projects using Revit MEP
• Set up and manage BEP’s on projects.

SKILLS AND BACKGROUND

• The BIM Manager will have extensive knowledge of 3D modelling software including Revit MEP and Navisworks.
• Experience of acting as BIM Manager or BIM Lead on large scale mission critical projects, ideally hyperscale data centres but this is not essential.
• Client facing experience.
• Team management experience is essential.
• Knowledge of the collaboration software Autodesk 360 and clash detection add-ons Solibri, Dynamo etc would be advantageous.
