BMS Service Engineer - Data Centres\n Location: Slough\n Salary: Up to £61k OTE + benefits\n\nThe Opportunity:\n We're looking for an experienced BMS Service Engineer to join a busy Data Centres Support Division. This is an onsite role, supporting mission-critical building management systems across multiple high-profile facilities. You'll be part of a large, employee-owned BMS company that values growth, collaboration, and staff wellbeing.\n\nKey Responsibilities:\n\nConduct preventative maintenance and diagnostics on BMS equipment in line with service agreements.\n\nProduce detailed reports following PPM visits to meet KPI requirements.\n\nMaintain schedules and trackers of maintenance works for visibility.\n\nCarry out small repairs and remedial tasks.\n\nPerform routine inspections to ensure optimal system performance and reliability.\n\nRespond to customer service calls for system failures.\n\nDocument all service activities, including maintenance, repairs, and client interactions.\n\nParticipate in an on-call rota for emergency or breakdown support.\n\nSkills & Experience:\n\nStrong experience with Schneider EcoStruxure; experience with Tridium, Trend, IQVision, or ALC is advantageous (training available if required).\n\nSolid background in building controls and understanding of mechanical plant.\n\nExperience working in data centre environments desirable.\n\nExcellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills.\n\nStrong communication skills, able to explain technical concepts to non-technical clients.\n\nAbility to work independently and as part of a team.\n\nFull UK driving licence and CSCS card (or equivalent).\n\nComfortable travelling to sites within the region.\n\nPC literate.\n\nBenefits:\n\nHighly competitive salary with bonus and standby allowance.\n\nOvertime opportunities.\n\nCompany car scheme (including fully electric vehicles) or car allowance option.\n\nEmployee ownership after 12 months.\n\nContributory pension scheme (6% company contribution).\n\nPrivate medical insurance (BUPA) and life assurance (4x annual salary).\n\n25 days holiday + bank holidays, with option to buy extra leave.\n\nCycle-to-work scheme up to £2,500.\n\nWhy Join:\n This role offers the chance to work in a fast-paced, technically demanding environment, with clear career progression and a supportive, team-oriented culture.
