Daily Duties
- Perform brazing using a gas torch on copper materials with filler metals
- Conduct assembly processes of valves and components onto compressors and evaporators
- Use generic power tools, hand tools, and saws
- Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and shop orders
- Conduct first‐article inspections and report any defects or issues (dimensional inspection, check‐to‐print)
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
- Collaborate with team members across shifts and departments
- Contribute to continuous improvement efforts and problem‐solving
- Use ERP systems and Microsoft Office tools to track production and inventory
- Be flexible — train across different areas and support other shifts as needed
Physical Requirements
- 5 years or more brazing experience with high preference and precision
- Ability to lift up to 45 lbs.
- Standing for long periods, majority of the day
- Must be able to see the full spectrum of colors — cannot be colorblind
- Experience with power tools and hand tools used for assembly
- Must wear safety shoes; all other PPE is provided
- Basic computer skills
