However, digital infrastructure has not kept pace, with the majority of the market operatingpredominantly inerror-prone, internal-only software solutions.
PactFiprovides secure, end-to-end, operational infrastructure for managing complex private credit transactions. Our web-based application brings together all parties involved in such a transaction to more efficientlyallocatecapital, complete KYC, share documents, manage funds flow, and more. The platform is secured to a bank-gradestandardand we have received both our SOC 2 Type II attestation and our ISO 27001 certification.

About the Job
Were seeking aBusiness Development Manager with 57 years of experience in financial services to help drive growth and strengthen our client relationships.
Based in our New York office, this role is designed for someone who has already built a strong foundation in client management and is ready to take on more ownership: expanding accounts, shaping strategy, and working directly with leadership at a high-growth startup.
What Youll Do
- Lead Accounts: Serve as the trusted advisor and primary contact for clients, ensuring long-term engagement and satisfaction.
Drive Growth: Prospect, qualify, and close new opportunities while deepening relationships with existing clients. - Shape Strategy: Collaborate with leadership to refine business development processes, go-to-market strategies, and client engagement models.
- Engage with Impact: Cultivate relationships through regular in-person interactions, networking, and industry events.
- Leverage Insights: Manage client support needs and optimize reporting to surface trends, guide strategy, and support decision-making.
What You Bring
- 57 years of experience in financial services (investment banking, alternatives, consulting, credit, investing, or sales & trading) in a client-facing business development or account management role.
- Proven success in building and growing senior-level client relationships.
- A startup-ready mindset - entrepreneurial, adaptable, and comfortable in fast-paced environments.
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills, with a preference for in-person interactions.
- Bachelors degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, or a related field
