With a strong global presence and expanding operations in the U.S., ECT specializes in RF connectors, high-speed cable assemblies, antennas, shielding cans, and automotive connectors (Fakra) — serving customers across data center, automotive, and communication industries.

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to drive growth in the Automotive and Data Center markets. The ideal candidate will have a proven record in managing global accounts, developing long-term partnerships, and identifying new business opportunities.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute strategic account plans focused on revenue growth, profitability, and customer satisfaction.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders at major customers.
  • Understand customers’ business and technical needs; work with internal engineering and production teams to deliver tailored solutions.
  • Manage overall customer engagement, including contract negotiations, quarterly reviews, and issue resolution.
  • Achieve quarterly and annual sales targets for assigned accounts.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within existing and prospective accounts.
  • Stay informed on industry trends, competitive activities, and emerging technologies.
  • Leverage personal network and industry connections to enhance business growth opportunities.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 3–5+ years of experience in business development, account management, or sales in the Automotive or Data Center industry.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Proven track record in managing and expanding revenue with key global customers.
  • Team-oriented mindset with the ability to collaborate across cross-functional teams.
  • Solid understanding of automotive/AI industry trends and high-speed interconnect technologies.
  • Familiarity with automotive connectors, cables, and high-speed cable applications .
  • Existing network and relationships with major OEMs and technology leaders such as Nvidia, Tesla, Apple, Meta, Google, etc. is a strong plus.
