About the Role

We are looking for a Business Development Manager to grow our business in North America, with a primary focus in the U.S. This is a remote role with frequent travel to meet customers and attend strategy meetings with our team. The right candidate will combine technical understanding, sales experience, and strong relationship-building skills. 

You'll focus identifying and securing new business opportunities in AI hardware, autonomous systems, telecom, servers, and data centers. The ideal candidate will posses deep insight into the procurement processes within these industries and have a proven ability to leverage existing relationships and forge new ones. This role is ideal for someone with an engineering degree who has already made the decision to build their career in sales.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and win new business with leading companies in AI hardware, autonomous vehicles, telecom, server, and data centers.

  • Build strong relationships with engineers and procurement teams at target accounts.

  • Use your industry network to find and develop leads.

  • Explain the value of our cooling solutions to both technical and non-technical audiences.

  • Work closely with our engineering and product teams to understand customer needs and translate them into tailored cooling solutions.

  • Research markets and competitors to identify trends and opportunities.

  • Create and execute account strategies to hit sales targets.

  • Manage the full sales cycle from lead to closing and support.

  • Provide regular updates on sales activity, pipeline, and market trends to management.

  • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth project delivery.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering is strongly , especially for candidates who have already chosen to pursue a career in sales.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field required.

  • 5+ years in business development or technical sales in manufacturing.

  • Proven experience working with large technology companies.

  • Strong familiarity with and meaningful connections in procurement or supply chain in AI, telecom, or data center sectors.

  • Technical understanding of heatsinks and liquid cooling is strongly but not required.

  • Strong communication and negotiation skills.

  • Able to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast paced environment.

  • Willingness and ability to travel frequently (up to 50% or more).

  • Comfortable using CRM tools and Microsoft Office.
