About the Role:
Direct Counsel is partnering with a Fortune 500 industry leader to hire a Closing Coordinator to support high-value commercial real estate transactions. This is a chance to work with a nationally recognized team that closes over $25 billion in U.S. commercial real estate deals annually, including transactions across data centers, energy facilities, multifamily, retail, and office projects.
The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented, client-focused professional with deep experience managing the closing process for sophisticated real estate transactions. This role offers the opportunity to step away from billable hours while still working on complex, high-value deals in a collaborative, team-based environment.
Responsibilities:

Coordinate all aspects of commercial real estate closings, including escrow, title, surveys, zoning reports, and due diligence.

Draft and review title objection letters and resolve issues with counterparties.

Serve as a key point of contact for clients, providing white glove service throughout the transaction.

Work closely with attorneys, underwriters, escrow officers, and business development executives to ensure smooth closings.
Qualifications:

5+ years of experience as a real estate paralegal, attorney, or closing/transaction coordinator.

Strong understanding of commercial real estate transactions, title, and escrow processes.

Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple transactions at once.

Excellent communication skills and a strong client service .
