The successful candidate will be responsible for servicing, maintaining, diagnosing, and repairing commercial gas systems across a variety of sites, ensuring safe and compliant operation at all times.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\nAttend reactive breakdowns and carry out fault diagnosis and repairs on commercial gas appliances and systems.\n\nPerform scheduled planned preventive maintenance (PPM) tasks on commercial gas equipment.\n\nInstall and commission new commercial gas plant and pipework when required.\n\nEnsure all work is completed to current Gas Safe and industry standards.\n\nComplete all relevant compliance documentation and job reports using handheld devices or paperwork.\n\nParticipate in out-of-hours call-out rota and occasional weekend work as required.\n\nLiaise with clients and site staff in a professional and courteous manner.\n\nEnsure compliance with company H&S policies and RAMS.\n\nRequired skills\n\nMinimum 3 years’ experience in a similar commercial gas engineering role.\n\nValid Commercial Gas Qualifications (ACS):\n\nCOCN1, CCN1, CIGA1, CDGA1, TPCP1 / TPCP1A\n\nFull UK Driving Licence.\n\nSound knowledge of current regulations and best practices.\n\nAbility to work independently and manage workload effectively.\n\nDesirable\n\nAdditional qualifications in LPG, Catering Gas, or Domestic Gas.\n\nExperience working in data centres, hospitals, schools, or other high-risk commercial environments.\n\nAwareness of basic building services systems (e.g., HVAC, plumbing, BMS).\n\nWhat We Offer\n\nCompetitive salary + overtime + call-out allowance\n\nCompany van + fuel card\n\nOngoing training and development\n\n25 days holiday + bank holidays\n\nPension scheme\n\nUniform and PPE provided\n\nBupa Healthcare after 6-months
