This is a pivotal role where you will shape strategy, mentor talent, and ensure the commercial success of our most significant ventures.\n\nThe Role: More Than Management, It's Mentorship.\n\nAs a Commercial Manager, you will be the commercial lead for a portfolio of projects, responsible for turning over and profit margin objectives. You will manage and develop a team of Quantity Surveyors at various career stages, fostering their growth while safeguarding the company's commercial interests.\n\nYour Key Responsibilities Will Include:\n\nLeadership & Team Development: Providing full line management, mentorship, and professional development for a team of Quantity Surveyors, guiding them towards successful final accounts and professional qualifications.\n\nCommercial Strategy: Driving all commercial reporting, including CVRs, cash flow forecasts, and revenue reports, ensuring accuracy and providing strategic insights to the Head of Commercial.\n\nRisk & Opportunity Management: Identifying and implementing strategies to mitigate commercial risks inherent in contracts and those arising during project execution.\n\nProcess Champion: Championing and continuously improving our commercial processes, from project start-up and procurement to final account and close-down, ensuring best practice across your team.\n\nStakeholder Management: Maintaining excellent client relations while ensuring Kane's commercial objectives are met, acting as a senior point of contact and support for your team in client meetings.\n\nWhy here?
