Job Title: Commissioning Manager (Mechanical)\n\nLocation: Slough (On-site)\nEngagement Type: Contractor All in Day Rate\n\nStart Date: 7th May until the end of August\n\nOverview\n\nWe are seeking a Commissioning Manager (Mechanical) to support the delivery of commissioning activities on-site in Slough. This role will follow a phased engagement model, increasing in time commitment as the project progresses.\n\nWorking Pattern\n\n * Phase 1: 1 day per week (first 6 weeks)\n\n * Phase 2: 2 days per week (following 6 weeks)\n\n * Phase 3: 3 days per week (the last 6 weeks)\n\nPotential continuation into additional phases of the same works, subject to project requirements.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\n * Develop and manage the Commissioning Plan for mechanical systems\n\n * Undertake design reviews to ensure commissioning readiness and compliance\n\n * Chair and lead weekly commissioning meetings\n\n * Produce weekly reports on mechanical commissioning activities and progress\n\n * Act as a GC-facing representative, ensuring clear communication and coordination\n\n * Liaise effectively with General Contractor, Commissioning Authority and Client stakeholders\n\n * Support planning and execution of commissioning activities across all project stages\n\nKey Skills & Experience\n\n * Proven experience in mechanical commissioning within construction or data centre / infrastructure environments\n\n * Strong understanding of commissioning processes, documentation, and sequencing\n\n * Experience leading Cx meetings and reporting\n\n * Ability to review and interpret mechanical design documentation\n\n * Strong stakeholder management and communication skills\n\n * Experience working in GC-facing roles is highly desirable
