Location: Acton, London
Contract: 6+ months (with potential extension)
Rate: £500 – £550 per day (Outside IR35 / CIS available)

The Role

Our client, a leading contractor in the data centre sector, is seeking an experienced Commissioning Manager to oversee and coordinate commissioning activities on a major project in Acton. This is a critical role ensuring that systems are delivered, tested, and handed over safely, efficiently, and in line with project requirements.

Responsibilities

* Lead and manage commissioning activities for electrical and mechanical systems.

* Coordinate site teams, subcontractors, and client representatives during commissioning.

* Develop commissioning plans, procedures, and schedules.

* Ensure all commissioning work complies with safety, quality, and regulatory standards.

* Provide reports and updates to senior project management.

Requirements

* Proven experience as a Commissioning Manager on large-scale M&E or data centre projects.

* Strong technical knowledge of commissioning processes and LV/HV systems.

* Excellent organisational, leadership, and communication skills.

* Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple stakeholders effectively.
