We are hiring a Commissioning Manager to join our team on a large-scale construction project in Phoenix, Arizona
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Project Oversight: Manage the commissioning phase of the battery plant, ensuring compliance with specifications and timelines.
- Team Coordination: Lead and coordinate the commissioning team, including engineers, technicians, and contractors.
- Testing and Validation: Develop and execute testing plans for equipment and systems to ensure they meet operational specifications.
- Documentation: Prepare and maintain comprehensive documentation of commissioning processes, results, and compliance records.
- Problem Solving: Identify and resolve technical issues that arise during the commissioning process.
- Safety Management: Ensure adherence to safety standards and regulations throughout the
- Stakeholder Communication: Act as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, providing updates on progress and addressing concerns.
Authority:
- You have authority to stop the job if you feel there is an unsafe work practice which could result in a risk of injury, have an environmental impact or risk to equipment and other personnel.
- Carry out your duties to meet Quality, Safety and Environmental requirements at all times.
Requirements
- Experience: Proven experience in commissioning management, preferably in large-scale industrial projects or battery manufacturing.
- Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of battery technology, systems integration, and industrial processes.
- Project Management Skills: Proficiency in project management methodologies and tools.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to analyze complex issues and implement effective solutions.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective stakeholder interaction.
- Certification: Relevant certifications in project management or commissioning (e.g., PMP, CEng) are a plus.
