Roles and Responsibilities\n• Project Planning & Control - Create, maintain, and report on\nsite project and program scope, schedules and milestones.\nWork closely with site project management team\nthroughout the project lifecycle from the creation of project\nand program plans through project close out.\n• Learnings - Continually review ongoing projects for\nefficiencies in schedule, budget, and opportunities to\nenable cross-functional partners to be successful.\nDocument data points to assist with field coordination of\nprojects. Support development of project management\nbest practices and initiatives, coordinating SOPs/SIPs with\nvendors, and participating in global and regional standards.\nCoordinate lessons learned with the internal and external\ncross functional partners.\n• Forecasting - Support project controls team with\nforecasting and budget efforts as required. Share current\nproject status with upstream and downstream partners,\nensuring crisp and complete handoffs between teams.\n• Technical Reviews - Establish milestones for equipment\npurchase and track and report against these milestones\nAssist with the selection and review of a contractor to\nsupport the structured cabling work within a data center.\n• Metrics - Report progress and risks on site projects and\nother initiatives to key stakeholders.\n• Workflow - Work with installation partners to establish and\ntrack milestones. Conduct pre-project planning, project\nhandoffs, and ensure design delivery and verification.\nIdentify and respond to project risks and high-priority\nissues rapidly and effectively through effective action and\nappropriate escalation. Track and manage project change\norder requests.\n• Vendor Field Management - Responsible for all connectivity\nactivities within construction, projects on site including\ntracking and reporting actual progress related to schedule\nexpectations. Set and communicate clear expectations\ntogether with the immediate site team, build key\nrelationships with our installation partners, foster a safe,\ncollaborative working environment and execute a goal of\n‘right first time.’\n• Quality Assurance - Perform physical inspections to ensure\nvendor work meets DEC quality standards throughout the\nlifecycle of the data center. Validate physical installs, test\nreports, build accuracy, material and local code compliance\nincluding constructability reviews on multiple design\nphases.\n• Technical Field Lead - Technical lead for industry and Meta\nstandards, responsible to lead product evaluation, design,\nand installation methods in the field including scope\nclarification, design and installation details as the owner of\nthe Request for Information process.\n• Technical Coordination - Develop solutions to in-field\nscope-gap or clash issues. Partner with DEC design and\nengineering teams to digitally support design reviews,\nBOM reviews, and as-built drawing validations.\n• Communications & Cross functional team engagement -\nLiaise with construction partners to ensure deliverables are\nmet during new builds and retrofits. Coordinate with\nlogistics partners, vendors, and suppliers to ensure a\nsmooth end to end flow of materials as needed. Work\nclosely with the relevant teams to proactively communicate\nprogress and project risks and initiatives to key\nstakeholders.\n• Safety - Ensure that vendors adhere to safety obligations in\naccordance with local regulations and DEC Safety best\npractices. Lead a 'safety first' experience while working with\nothers, in support of shared goals. Foster an environment of\nopen and transparent communication while\nacknowledging demonstrated experience in EHS practices.

Qualifications\n• Experience reviewing and leading installations to design\ndocuments and specifications\n• Data center development and/or construction\nmanagement experience.\n• Experience with Primavera 6.\n• Experience managing IT or IP Network deployment\nprojects in a mission critical environment requiring\ncoordination across multiple disciplines for the delivery of a\ncommon goal.\n• Experience in leading deployments of Network/Structure\ncabling infrastructure.\n• Experience with fiber optic testing at scale inclusive of\ncomplex troubleshooting.\n• Experience with outside plant cabling (OSP) deployments\nincluding OTDR/OLTS testing.\n• Experience with Quality Assurance and Quality Control,\nincluding progressive inspections and acceptance.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $60.00 - $80.00/hr.
