Compensation: $65,000.00 – $75,000.00 Annually

Job Summary

As the Construction Manager I, II, III, you will ultimately be responsible for managing construction crews, coordinating project execution, and ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget. You will lead field operations, oversee scheduling, materials, and workforce performance, and collaborate with project teams and customers to deliver successful construction projects. Your customers are Congruex project teams and utility, broadband, and telecommunications clients, and you will make meaningful contributions to the company's success through operational excellence, safety, and quality project delivery.

Key Responsibilities (Including, but not limited to)

• Manage and coordinate the daily activities of construction crews while promoting a safe and productive work environment
• Coordinate project schedules, material procurement, customer communication, and field operations with Project Managers and internal teams
• Monitor project budgets, production, milestones, daily reports, as-builts, closeout documentation, and invoice approvals
• Train, coach, evaluate, and develop Foremen and field personnel while supporting hiring and performance management activities
• Ensure compliance with company policies, customer requirements, and applicable safety regulations and construction standards
• Review project progress to ensure work is completed accurately, on schedule, and within budget
• Additional responsibilities within functional scope based on business needs

Required Qualifications

Education, Licensing, and Certifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Valid Driver's License with an acceptable driving record
• OSHA 30 certification required
• CPR/First Aid certification required

Experience

• Experience managing construction crews and utility, telecommunications, or broadband construction projects
• Experience with aerial and underground utility construction
• Experience coordinating project schedules, materials, budgets, and field operations

Skills and Abilities

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, construction drawings, specifications, and project documentation
• Strong leadership, organizational, coaching, and team development skills
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
• Intermediate to advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office and construction management software
• Ability to analyze budgets, forecasts, project costs, percentages, and production metrics
• Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and analytical abilities
• Ability to manage multiple priorities while meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality and safety

Qualifications

• Experience using HCSS HeavyBid, scheduling software, or similar construction management platforms
• Experience managing multiple large-scale telecommunications or utility construction projects

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, squat, climb, kneel, push, pull, and twist for extended periods
• Work performed indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Ability to work around heavy equipment and machinery
• Ability to wear required PPE, including safety boots, safety glasses, hardhat, and other applicable safety equipment
• Must be able to maintain visual and audible awareness of surrounding personnel, vehicles, and equipment
• Must be able to pass applicable pre-employment screenings
