Contracts Manager – M&E / Critical Infrastructure\n\nCentral London\n\n£80,000 - £95,000 + Package (DOE)\n\nAn established M&E contractor is seeking an experienced Contracts Manager to join the business on a permanent basis, initially overseeing a high-profile critical infrastructure project in Central London.\n\nThis is an excellent opportunity to join a growing organisation with a strong pipeline of work secured across mission-critical and technically challenging environments.\n\nThe successful candidate will take ownership of a major plant replacement project within a live operational facility, managing all aspects of delivery from planning and procurement through to commissioning and handover.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\n * Overall responsibility for the successful delivery of M&E projects\n\n * Management of critical shutdowns and complex live-environment works\n\n * Client and stakeholder management\n\n * Coordination of subcontractors, suppliers and specialist contractors\n\n * Programme management and reporting\n\n * Commercial awareness including variations and project costs\n\n * Health & Safety leadership and compliance\n\n * Management of commissioning, testing and handover activities\n\n * Attendance at client, design and progress meetings\n\nExperience Required\n\n * Proven experience as a Contracts Manager, Senior Project Manager or Operations Manager within the M&E sector\n\n * Strong Mechanical Building Services background \n\n * Experience delivering projects within live operational environments\n\n * Previous involvement in plant replacement, HVAC, cooling or critical infrastructure projects\n\n * Experience managing subcontractors and multi-disciplinary teams\n\n * Strong understanding of health & safety and permit-to-work systems\n\n * Excellent client-facing and communication skills\n\nHighly Desirable\n\n * Data Centre experience\n\n * Critical cooling or chiller replacement experience\n\n * Hospital, pharmaceutical or mission-critical environment experience\n\n * Knowledge of commissioning and complex shutdown planning\n\nWhat's on Offer\n\n * Permanent position with long-term career prospects\n\n * Strong pipeline of future projects across London and the South East\n\n * Competitive salary and package\n\n * Opportunity to work on technically challenging and high-profile projects\n\n * Immediate start available for the right candidate\n\nFor a confidential discussion regarding the role, please apply with your CV
