£80,000 - £95,000 + Package (DOE)

An established M&E contractor is seeking an experienced Contracts Manager to join the business on a permanent basis, initially overseeing a high-profile critical infrastructure project in Central London.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing organisation with a strong pipeline of work secured across mission-critical and technically challenging environments.

The successful candidate will take ownership of a major plant replacement project within a live operational facility, managing all aspects of delivery from planning and procurement through to commissioning and handover.

Key Responsibilities

* Overall responsibility for the successful delivery of M&E projects

* Management of critical shutdowns and complex live-environment works

* Client and stakeholder management

* Coordination of subcontractors, suppliers and specialist contractors

* Programme management and reporting

* Commercial awareness including variations and project costs

* Health & Safety leadership and compliance

* Management of commissioning, testing and handover activities

* Attendance at client, design and progress meetings

Experience Required

* Proven experience as a Contracts Manager, Senior Project Manager or Operations Manager within the M&E sector

* Strong Mechanical Building Services background

* Experience delivering projects within live operational environments

* Previous involvement in plant replacement, HVAC, cooling or critical infrastructure projects

* Experience managing subcontractors and multi-disciplinary teams

* Strong understanding of health & safety and permit-to-work systems

* Excellent client-facing and communication skills

Highly Desirable

* Data Centre experience

* Critical cooling or chiller replacement experience

* Hospital, pharmaceutical or mission-critical environment experience

* Knowledge of commissioning and complex shutdown planning
