Job DescriptionCSA QA/QC EngineerLocation: Blyth, North East EnglandSector: Data Centres / Mission CriticalProject: £10bn Hyperscale Data Centre CampusOur client is a leading international main contractor delivering some of Europe's most advanced hyperscale and mission-critical data centre developments. They are seeking an experienced CSA QA/QC Engineer to join the delivery team on a landmark £10bn hyperscale data centre campus in Blyth, North East England.This flagship development, one of the largest data centre campuses in Europe, will be delivered over the next decade and represents one of the UK's most significant infrastructure projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing quality assurance and quality control activities across Civil, Structural and Architectural (CSA) works, ensuring all construction activities meet project specifications, industry standards and client expectations.Working closely with Construction Managers, Site Engineers, subcontractors, design teams and client representatives, you will monitor quality performance, manage inspections and ensure all CSA packages are delivered to the highest standards from construction through to final handover.Key ResponsibilitiesManage QA/QC activities across all CSA construction packagesDevelop, implement and maintain inspection and test plans (ITPs)Review construction drawings, specifications, method statements and quality documentationConduct site inspections and monitor compliance with project requirementsEnsure materials, workmanship and installation standards meet approved specificationsCoordinate inspections with clients, consultants and subcontractorsManage NCRs, observations, snagging and corrective actions through to close-outMaintain quality records, handover documentation and project quality filesSupport subcontractors in achieving project quality objectivesReview technical submissions, RFIs and construction documentationCoordinate quality interfaces between CSA, MEP, commissioning and other project disciplinesSupport audits, progress meetings and project reporting activitiesPromote a strong quality culture across site operationsRequirementsProven experience as a QA/QC Engineer within major construction projectsStrong experience with Civil, Structural and Architectural (CSA) packagesPrevious experience delivering hyperscale data centres, mission-critical facilities, industrial or large-scale commercial projectsGood understanding of construction quality procedures, inspections and testing requirementsExperience managing ITPs, NCRs, snagging and handover documentationAbility to interpret engineering drawings, specifications and technical documentationStrong attention to detail with excellent organisational and reporting skillsDegree, HNC/HND or equivalent qualification in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or a related disciplineExperience working within multidisciplinary project environmentsPackageHighly competitive salary + comprehensive packageRotation / Accommodation / Living allowance / Travel allowanceBonus / Car allowance / Private healthcare / Enhanced pension / Life assuranceLong-term opportunity on one of Europe's largest hyperscale data centre developmentsThis is an excellent opportunity to join one of the UK's largest and most technically advanced construction programmes.
