Join a global leader in logistics and data center operations. Nexeo HR is hiring a Data Center Production Supervisor to support a high‑tech data center facility in Sparks, NV (near USA Parkway).

The Production Supervisor for the Builds Department is responsible for the strategic oversight and daily management of infrastructure deployment workstreams. This role ensures that all physical server builds—from rack population to final cabling—are completed on schedule, within budget, and according to global quality standards. The ideal candidate is a proactive leader who can bridge the gap between high-level project planning and floor-level execution, driving team performance while maintaining a culture of safety and precision. Responsibilities

• Oversee daily data center build operations to ensure deployments meet schedule, quality, and production targets

• Lead and prioritize workflows to meet Service Level Objectives (SLOs) and production timelines

• Assign personnel, tools, and equipment to build projects based on scope and urgency

• Supervise server rack assembly, hardware installation, and cabling per schematics and SOPs

• Verify rack placement using precision laser measurement tools

• Serve as the final escalation point for build quality assurance

• Conduct and oversee inspections of inbound/outbound materials

• Monitor inventory through cycle counts and ensure availability of critical spares, tools, and PPE

• Track material movement and process returns using inventory systems

• Provide hands‑on leadership by assigning tasks and monitoring technician performance

• Train, mentor, and coach team members on build standards and documentation

• Monitor key metrics such as build accuracy, throughput, and deployment speed

• Enforce data center safety standards, PPE requirements, and security protocols

• Coordinate with Material Planning and Site Operations to align schedules and resolve issues

• Prepare daily and weekly production reports using Excel and Word

• Troubleshoot technical, logistical, or personnel-related issues to minimize downtime

• Operate material handling equipment such as rack movers, straddle stackers, and pallet jacks

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace following 5S principles

• Perform other data center-related duties, including lifting, pushing, and pulling throughout the shift

Qualifications

• 2+ years of leadership experience in data center builds, electronic manufacturing, or production

• Hands‑on experience with server rack builds, hardware installation, or structured cabling

• Proficiency with power tools, hand tools, and precision measurement equipment

• Ability to read schematics, diagrams, and technical documentation

• Familiarity with inventory management and quality assurance processes

• Strong leadership, communication, and problem‑solving skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word

• High attention to detail with strong multitasking capability

• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform physical tasks throughout the shift

• Reliable transportation to the site (near USA Parkway)

• High school diploma or GED required

• Must pass a 10‑year background check and pre‑employment drug screening

Pay

$35.00 per hour

Schedule

Full‑Time | Day Shift | Monday – Friday | 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM

Must be willing and available to work overtime as needed.
