Gillmann Services is hiring a Construction Project Engineer to manage Commissioning (Cx) Oversight. You will act as the gatekeeper for MEP systems, driving accountability across subcontractors and third-party testers.Instead of doing physical testing, you will audit the process, manage documentation, and ensure everything meets quality standards before final handover. Direct experience with CxAlloy is strictly required.Key Responsibilities

  • Oversight: Review commissioning plans, checklists, and test results from subcontractors.
  • CxAlloy Management: Monitor issues logs, track equipment readiness, and ensure schedule compliance.
  • Quality Assurance: Conduct site walkthroughs, audit installations, and witness critical testing.
  • Deficiency Tracking: Hold vendors accountable and track all issues to closure.
  • Reviews: Check design drawings, specifications, and RFIs for MEP integration.
  • Handover: Direct the final compilation of O&M manuals, training records, and warranties.

Requirements

  • Experience: 2–5 years in construction project engineering, QA, or commissioning (MEP focus).
  • Software: Mandatory, hands-on experience using CxAlloy. (Procore, Autodesk, or Bluebeam is a plus).
  • Technical Skills: Strong understanding of HVAC, electrical distribution, and building automation (BAS).
  • Education: Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or equivalent field experience.
  • Communication: Assertive style with a proven ability to hold subcontractors accountable.
