Position: Data Center Power Commissioning Technician

Position Overview:
As a Data Center Power Commissioning Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the successful commissioning of power systems in data centers. You will work closely with our team of engineers and project managers to ensure that all power systems are installed and functioning correctly, meeting industry standards and client requirements. This is a hands-on role that requires strong technical skills and attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct commissioning tests on power systems in data centers, including generators, UPS systems, switchgear, and power distribution units
- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during commissioning
- Collaborate with project managers and engineers to ensure that all power systems are installed and functioning correctly
- Document all commissioning activities and provide reports to project managers
- Conduct site surveys and gather data to assist with the design and installation of power systems
- Stay up-to-date with industry standards and best practices in data center power commissioning
- Travel to client sites as needed to perform commissioning activities
- Provide training and support to clients on the operation and maintenance of power systems
- Assist with the development and implementation of commissioning procedures and protocols
- Participate in meetings and discussions with clients to address any concerns or issues related to power systems
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 1 years of experience in commissioning power systems in data centers
- Strong understanding of electrical systems, including generators, UPS systems, switchgear, and power distribution units
- Experience with testing and troubleshooting power systems
- Knowledge of industry standards and best practices for data center power systems
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
- Willingness to travel to client sites as needed
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
