This is a 24-week project supporting data center infrastructure installations and decommissioning activities. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM, with the potential for overtime (up to 56 hours per week).
Compensation: Up to $24/hour, plus overtime opportunities.
Job Location: Ashburn, VA
Key responsibilities include:
* Installing and decommissioning network and cabling infrastructure within a data center environment
* Pulling, terminating, labeling, and testing copper and fiber optic cabling
* Fusion splicing (single fiber and ribbon fiber)
* Installing ladder rack, seismic bracing, and supporting MDF/IDF buildouts
* Operating testing equipment such as DSX 5000 and OTDR testers
* Reading blueprints, floor plans, and design documentation
* Installing, connecting, and decommissioning network equipment
* Troubleshooting cabling and connectivity issues while maintaining quality and safety standards
We're looking for candidates with experience in structured cabling, data center environments, copper/fiber installations, and testing/troubleshooting. Experience with LinkWare, OTDR testing, and fusion splicing is highly .
