Amazon is seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join Amazon’s Corporate Business Development group as a Director leading our AWS focused organization. This role will work closely with AWS leadership and service team management on commercial strategy, partnerships and other strategic business opportunities. You will lead a team that is responsible for generating, managing, and executing some of AWS’s most complex and high impact partnership activities and have strong technical aptitude to identify best in class opportunities. This includes managing relationships and negotiations for partnership deals which are unconventional in nature, and which often have long-term implications to AWS. • Take the lead to identify, evaluate, negotiate and manage strategic partnerships and marketing deals that enable valuable customer experiences and support the strategic objectives of AWS services on a global basis.
• Serve as a subject matter expert on commercial deal constructs. Evaluate the economic and strategic costs and benefits of partnerships and work with appropriate leaders and across all functional areas of AWS to execute on the relationships.
• Manage a team of senior deal makers by developing and cultivating a high-performance culture that attracts and retains world-class talent.
