Your new role

As Director of Development (Data Center Construction), you will play a key leadership role in delivering client-driven data center deployments from concept through execution. Acting as the primary liaison between internal development, sales, operations, and the end client, you will ensure projects are executed to the highest standards of quality, schedule, and cost.

You will coordinate across multiple internal and external stakeholders, manage complex construction initiatives, and support client engagements tied to new project wins. This role sits within a highly collaborative development team and offers strong visibility across executive leadership.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 10+ years of experience in mission-critical facility development
  • 5+ years managing large-scale data center construction projects or hyperscale deployments
  • Strong understanding of design, engineering coordination, and construction delivery processes
  • Proven ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously
  • Experience working directly with clients and cross-functional internal teams
  • Ability to travel as needed

Additional strengths:

  • Strong communication and leadership skills
  • Experience with health & safety compliance in construction environments
  • Familiarity with structured cabling / deployment technologies (RCDD a plus)
  • Ability to influence and lead cross-disciplinary teams in a fast-paced growth environment
