Commissioning Engineer (Generators & Control Systems)\n\nLocation: UK-Wide (Regular Travel Required)\n Competitive Salary + Benefits + Vehicle\n\nThe Company\n\nNeos Engineering are partnered with a leading engineering organisation delivering critical power solutions across the UK. Due to continued growth, they are now looking to appoint an experienced Commissioning Engineer with a strong background in generator and control systems.\n\nThe Role\n\nAs a Commissioning Engineer, you will be responsible for the commissioning, testing, and support of power and control systems. You will play a key role in delivering projects across a range of environments, ensuring systems are fully operational, compliant, and integrated.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\nCarry out generator commissioning, including testing, fault finding, and performance verification\n\nCommission and support mains synchronisation systems, ensuring seamless integration\n\nWork with AMF, synchronising, and load sharing control systems\n\nConfigure and test Deep Sea Electronics (DSE) and ComAp control panels\n\nCommission Automatic Bus Controllers (ABCs) and associated systems\n\nInterpret electrical schematics and support control panel design and build\n\nPerform on-site diagnostics, troubleshooting, and rectification of faults\n\nEnsure all work is carried out in line with health & safety standards\n\nProvide technical support to clients and internal teams\n\nProduce commissioning reports and documentation\n\nSkills & Experience Required\n\nProven experience in generator commissioning\n\nStrong knowledge of mains synchronisation and load sharing systems\n\nHands-on experience with:\n\nDeep Sea Electronics (DSE) controllers\n\nComAp controllers\n\nExperience with Automatic Bus Controllers (ABCs)\n\nStrong electrical fault finding and diagnostic skills\n\nAbility to work independently on-site\n\nExcellent communication and reporting skills\n\nQualifications\n\nRelevant electrical engineering qualification (HNC/HND, NVQ or equivalent)\n\nFull UK Driving Licence\n\nDesirable Experience\n\nExperience within critical power environments (data centres, hospitals, utilities)\n\nExposure to water industry / water board projects\n\nKnowledge of PLC systems and integration\n\nPrevious client-facing commissioning experience\n\nAdditional Information\n\nUK-wide travel with regular overnight stays required\n\nFlexible working hours to meet project demands\n\nStrong commitment to health & safety\n\nApply Now\n\nIf you are an experienced Commissioning Engineer with strong DSE and ComAp experience, looking for your next challenge, apply today with Neos Engineering
