Quality Electrical Systems is a rapidly growing industrial electrical manufacturer specializing in modular power solutions, control panels, and E-House systems. Due to our continued growth, we accept applications year-round for Control Panel Builder positions.

Position Overview:

As a Control Panel Builder, you will play a hands-on role in the assembly, wiring, and inspection of custom electrical control panels used in industrial and automation applications. This is a production-based role ideal for individuals who are mechanically inclined, comfortable using hand and power tools, and able to work from wiring diagrams and schematics.

Wage: $18.00 to $25.00 + DOE

Quality Electrical Systems offers multiple shift options to support work-life balance and production flexibility. Shift availability may vary by department, with opportunities typically available on. Currently, the swing shift differential pay calculates at $3.00 per worked hour and is exempt from overtime rates and PTO hours.  The shift differential rate is subject to change at any time at the company’s discretion.

Key Responsibilities:

• Read and interpret electrical schematics, assembly instructions, and BOMs.

• Assemble and wire control panels to spec, following quality standards.

• Cut, strip, crimp, and route wire sizes from 26 AWG to 12 AWG.

• Mount components such as relays, terminal blocks, switches, and breakers.

• Modify enclosures using hand and power tools as needed.

• Apply correct torque settings to secure electrical hardware.

• Perform rework and corrections as directed by Quality Control.

• Conduct basic testing to ensure panel functionality and design compliance.

Qualifications:

• Basic to advanced understanding of electrical systems and components

• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and engineering drawings

• Mechanical aptitude and hands-on experience in a shop or manufacturing setting

• Proficient with hand tools, power tools, crimpers, multimeters, and fabrication equipment

• Strong attention to detail, with a commitment to safety and quality standards

• Effective communication and organizational skills

Experience

• Previous experience in control panel wiring, assembly, or industrial manufacturing

• Background in HVAC systems or industrial automation

• Familiarity with UL/NEC standards, Lean manufacturing, or 5S practices
