Electrical Engineer – 3–10 Years Experience

Location: Dallas, TX

Position Overview:
We are seeking an Electrical Engineer with 3–10 years of experience to support the design and execution of commercial, industrial, and/or infrastructure projects. This role will contribute to electrical system design, coordination, and project delivery while working closely with multidisciplinary teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design electrical systems including power distribution, lighting, grounding, and low-voltage systems
• Prepare construction documents, drawings, and specifications using AutoCAD and/or Revit
• Perform electrical calculations (load, short circuit, voltage drop) and equipment selection
• Support project coordination with architects, mechanical engineers, and clients
• Conduct site visits, field investigations, and construction support (RFIs, submittals, punch lists)
• Ensure designs comply with NEC codes and applicable standards
• Participate in design reviews, QA/QC processes, and project meetings
• Assist with project scheduling, budgeting, and technical documentation

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE)
• 3–10 years of relevant experience (MEP consulting, industrial, or power systems )
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, or similar design software
• Working knowledge of power systems, lighting design, and electrical layouts
• Strong understanding of NEC and industry standards
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills

• EIT certification or progress toward PE (Texas )
• Experience with SKM, ETAP, or other electrical analysis tools
• Exposure to healthcare, commercial, or data center projects
• Ability to mentor junior engineers (for 7–10 year candidates)
