This is a high-visibility role where you'll apply your expertise in power distribution, automation, real-time monitoring, and energy storage to enhance reliability and efficiency across operations. You'll also play a key role in ensuring safety, compliance, and innovation while mentoring junior engineers and managing complex projects from concept to completion.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the design, implementation, and optimization of electrical systems supporting natural gas and energy infrastructure.
  • Integrate advanced technologies such as automation, real-time monitoring, and energy storage to drive efficiency.
  • Implement safety systems, including arc flash mitigation, fault detection, and compliance with NEC, NEMA, API, and IEEE codes.
  • Deliver technical expertise in electrical schematics, layouts, and power distribution for both new projects and upgrades.
  • Manage engineering projects from Pre-FEED, FEED, through EPC, ensuring delivery on time and within budget.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align solutions with business needs and customer requirements.
  • Mentor and support junior engineers to promote knowledge sharing and professional growth.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • 4+ years of engineering experience in natural gas, energy, or data centers.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical design codes (NEC, NEMA, API, IEEE).
  • Ability to review and implement arc flash studies and improvements.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and general PC skills.
  • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills with a safety-first mindset.

:

  • Master's degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) License.
  • Project management experience.
  • Experience with PLCs, HMI systems, and instrumentation design.
  • Background in Pre-FEED, FEED, or EPC phases of engineering projects.
