We're Hiring: Electrical Maintenance Technician (Electrical Bias) ⚡ \n\n City of London\n Up to £45,000 + £3,140 Shift Allowance + Benefits\n Continental Shift Pattern | Permanent\n\nWe're looking for an experienced Electrical Maintenance Technician ⚡ to join a leading UK Facilities Management company on a prestigious critical commercial site in the City of London. This is a fantastic opportunity to work within a high-profile environment, maintaining essential building services while benefiting from long-term career progression and ongoing training.\n\n What you'll be doing:\n✔️ Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance across electrical and building services systems ⚡\n✔️ Fault finding, diagnosing, and repairing electrical systems and controls \n✔️ Maintaining HVAC, lighting, emergency lighting, power distribution, UPS systems, and associated plant equipment ️ \n✔️ Responding promptly to breakdowns and emergency call-outs \n✔️ Ensuring all work is completed safely and in line with Health & Safety and compliance procedures \n✔️ Updating maintenance records and completing all required documentation accurately \n✔️ Working closely with the engineering team and maintaining excellent client relationships \n\n What we're looking for:\n✔️ City & Guilds / NVQ Level 3 Electrical Qualification (or equivalent) ⚡\n✔️ 18th Edition Wiring Regulations \n✔️ Experience within commercial building services or facilities maintenance \n✔️ Strong fault-finding and electrical maintenance skills \n✔️ Ability to work effectively within a continental shift team \n✔️ Excellent communication and client-facing skills \n\n⭐ Desirable:\n✔️ Experience in critical environments such as banking, data centres, or high-profile commercial buildings \n✔️ HV/LV knowledge or switching experience ⚡\n\n Shift Pattern:\n 4 Days On, 6 Days Off\n 4 Nights On, 4 Days Off\n 3 Days On, 3 Nights On, 4 Days Off\n\nShift Times:\n Days: 07:00 – 19:00\n Nights: 19:00 – 07:00\n⏱️ Average 42 hours per week (1-hour unpaid break)\n\n What's on offer:\n Up to £45,000 basic salary\n £3,140 shift allowance\n⏰ Overtime opportunities\n Company pension\n Holiday allowance\n Ongoing training and development\n Excellent career progression within a leading UK FM organisation\n\n If you're a qualified Electrical Maintenance Technician ⚡ looking to develop your career on a prestigious, critical London contract, this is an excellent opportunity to join a market-leading Facilities Management business offering stability, training, and genuine progression
