Electrical Project Manager\n\nLocation: Birmingham\n\nJob Type: Full-time / Permanent\n\nSalary: £65,000 - £70,000 + £5000 Car Allowance\n\nAccomodation and Expenses paid for\n\nWill start work in Chichester 3-4 months before moving to Birmingham Projects long term. \n\nCompany Description\n\nOperating for over 40+ years, this organisation provides complete Mechanical and Electrical services across all sectors of the construction industry including Industrial, Logistics, Food, Pharmaceutical, Data Centre, Mining, Healthcare, Commercial, Hotel & Leisure, High-End Residential, Public, and Energy.\n\nFrom design stage to installation and ongoing maintenance, the highly skilled workforce delivers efficient, reliable, and best-in-class services to clients.\n\nJob Description\n\n * Attend project start up meetings.\n\n * Become familiar with all details and specifications of the project.\n\n * Collate and manage technical submittals ensuring they are issued and followed through until approval.\n\n * Raise and manage RFI’s.\n\n * Manage labour tracker.\n\n * Maintain Progress Report weekly, reporting and managing any changes/variations.\n\n * Liaise with main contractors and the client-based site team.\n\n * Oversee coordination and delivery of project plant and equipment.\n\n * Ensure adequate materials are always available to complete the project.\n\n * Ensure construction and commissioning programmes are in place for the job and implement the commission plan on site.\n\n * Generate biweekly/monthly snag list and improvements.\n\n * Manage handover process and maintain Document Management System.\n\n * Project specific scheduling.\n\n * Hold meetings with Subcontractors to ensure on-time delivery.\n\n * Attend general site meetings and action points raised.\n\n * Communicate any innovative project-specific works to Contracts Manager (R&D).\n\nQualifications\n\n * Extensive experience in an Electrical Project Manager or similar role.\n\n * Successful track record of delivering large-scale projects.\n\n * Qualification in Construction/Project Management is .\n\n * Experience of supervising teams
