Electrical Project Manager – Cambridge

- £80,000-£100,000
- Annual Leave – 20 days + Christmas Shutdown

A major prison development in Cambridge is looking for an experienced Electrical Project Manager to join the delivery team on a high-profile, secure infrastructure project.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a capable and motivated individual with strong electrical experience across the full project lifecycle from pre-construction through to commissioning and handover.
Role Overview:
- Pre-Construction Leadership: Develop and manage programmes, budgets, and early-stage planning.
- Design Review: Collaborate with design teams to ensure electrical systems are efficient, compliant, and buildable.
- Procurement: Manage procurement of subcontractors, suppliers, and key electrical components.
- Close-Out: Lead testing, commissioning, snagging, and handover, ensuring high-quality standards and full compliance.
✅ Candidate Requirements:
- Proven experience delivering complex electrical packages, ideally on secure or regulated sites (e.g., prisons, defence, healthcare, data centres).
- Strong capability across Pre-Construction, Design Coordination, Procurement, and Close-Out.
- Skilled at coordinating multiple stakeholders from clients and consultants to Tier 1–3 contractors.
- Excellent communication, documentation, and problem-solving skills.
- Recognised electrical qualifications and relevant site management experience.
