Job Description
We’re seeking an experienced Electrical Project Manager to lead and oversee complex electrical construction projects within data centers, healthcare facilities, and other mission-critical environments. The ideal candidate has a proven track record managing multimillion-dollar projects, coordinating with clients and design teams, and driving successful delivery from preconstruction through closeout.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage all phases of electrical construction projects including budgeting, scheduling, procurement, installation, and closeout.
- Lead project teams to ensure safety, quality, and profitability goals are achieved.
- Coordinate with owners, general contractors, engineers, and vendors to ensure project milestones are met.
- Review drawings, specifications, and submittals to ensure scope alignment and code compliance.
- Develop and maintain project schedules, forecasts, and financial reports.
- Oversee subcontractor and supplier performance.
- Ensure strict adherence to electrical safety standards, company policies, and client requirements.
- Provide technical guidance and support to field teams, particularly for data center power distribution, emergency backup systems, and healthcare critical power systems.
- Manage change orders, RFIs, and project documentation through completion.
- Mentor junior staff and assist with estimating or preconstruction efforts as needed.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 5–10+ years of experience managing large-scale electrical construction projects.
- Strong background in data center, healthcare, or mission-critical environments required.
- Solid understanding of NEC, NFPA, and healthcare-specific electrical codes and standards.
- Experience with design-build or design-assist delivery methods .
- Excellent organizational, leadership, and communication skills.
- Proficient with construction management software (Procore, Bluebeam, MS Project, etc.).
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
