Electrical Project Manager

Job Description

We’re seeking an experienced Electrical Project Manager to lead and oversee complex electrical construction projects within data centers, healthcare facilities, and other mission-critical environments. The ideal candidate has a proven track record managing multimillion-dollar projects, coordinating with clients and design teams, and driving successful delivery from preconstruction through closeout.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage all phases of electrical construction projects including budgeting, scheduling, procurement, installation, and closeout.
  • Lead project teams to ensure safety, quality, and profitability goals are achieved.
  • Coordinate with owners, general contractors, engineers, and vendors to ensure project milestones are met.
  • Review drawings, specifications, and submittals to ensure scope alignment and code compliance.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, forecasts, and financial reports.
  • Oversee subcontractor and supplier performance.
  • Ensure strict adherence to electrical safety standards, company policies, and client requirements.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to field teams, particularly for data center power distribution, emergency backup systems, and healthcare critical power systems.
  • Manage change orders, RFIs, and project documentation through completion.
  • Mentor junior staff and assist with estimating or preconstruction efforts as needed.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 5–10+ years of experience managing large-scale electrical construction projects.
  • Strong background in data center, healthcare, or mission-critical environments required.
  • Solid understanding of NEC, NFPA, and healthcare-specific electrical codes and standards.
  • Experience with design-build or design-assist delivery methods .
  • Excellent organizational, leadership, and communication skills.
  • Proficient with construction management software (Procore, Bluebeam, MS Project, etc.).
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
